Two Reform UK councillors expelled by email

REFORM UK was rocked by more bad news today as the far-right party expelled two councillors from its flagship council in England by email.

Kent County Councillors Bill Barrett and Robert Ford were kicked out by Reform HQ which said they had undermined the interests of the party and brought it into “disrepute.”

The two councillors had been suspended and a party spokesperson confirmed they had now been expelled from the party via email.

Their removal comes after a leaked video of a Reform meeting saw Kent council leader Linden Kemkaran telling members to “f***ng suck it up” when they disagreed on big decisions.

With a budget of over £2.5 billion, Ms Kemkaran also called the council a “shop window” for what Reform could do if it ran the country.

The move to expel the councillors for “bringing the party into disrepute” came after it had taken no action over Runcorn & Helsby MP Sarah Pochin’s racist comments about television adverts full of black and Asian people.
