Starmer pledges 69,000 jobs for Scotland

LABOUR has promised an end to “economic turmoil” and 69,000 jobs for Scotland among pledges to put the country “at the heart of government.”

The pledges were made by the party’s leader Sir Keir Starmer as he accompanied his Scottish counterpart Anas Sarwar touring businesses in Scotland today. 

Labour unveiled plans for 10-year budgets for organisations concerned with technological research, such as the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, as part of its industrial strategy.
