MEN’S CRICKET: Surrey lead the County Championship Division One by 12 points after they beat Worcester by an innings and five runs and second-placed Essex were held to a draw by Durham.

Somerset are a further 11 points back in third after they drew at Nottingham. Tom Bailey bagged match figures of 5-83 as Lancashire beat bottom club Kent and Warwickshire held on for a draw with Hampshire.

MEN’S RUGBY UNION: Reigning champions Toulouse take on Bordeaux Begles in the Top 14’s play-off final tomorrow evening.
