Knife attack in Southport leaves at least eight injured
Forensic officers on Hart Street in Southport, Merseyside, where a man has been detained and a knife has been seized after a number of people were injured in a reported stabbing, July 29, 2024

BLEEDING children were seen fleeing from a knife attack that has left at least eight injured.

A “major incident” was declared following scenes from a “horror movie” at a property in Hart Street, Southport, north of Liverpool.

Armed police arrested a man and seized a knife after being called to the scene.
