WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: Jane Ross netted a hat-trick and Rio Hardy and Lizzie Arnott chipped in with a goal each as Scottish cupholders Rangers thrashed Aberdeen 5-0 to seal their place in this year’s final. 

They will face nine-time winners Glasgow City for the trophy after Katie Lockwood bagged two second-half goals in their 4-0 victory over Motherwell. 

Rangers currently sit second in the Premier League, one point ahead of third-placed Glasgow City.
