US president suggests he might visit the King in September

DONALD TRUMP is not welcome in Britain and will be met with protests, campaigners warned today, after the US president suggested he may embark on a state visit in September.
In February Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer handed Mr Trump an unprecedented invitation from the King for a second visit, his first hosted by the late queen during his first presidency in 2019.
Asked by journalists about the second meeting, Mr Trump said: “I was invited by the King and the country — great country.
