A PEACE camp is returning to the RAF Lakenheath from Monday to protest at the threat of US nuclear weapons coming to Britain. 

Lakenheath Alliance for Peace will stage a camp and programme of events from April 14-26, culminating in a blockade on the final day.

The latest protest comes after legal letters from CND to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) resulted in the declassifying of a document exempting US Visiting Forces in Britain from meeting nuclear safety regulations.
