MEN’S ICE HOCKEY: Dundee Stars enjoyed a six-point weekend with their surprise 3-2 win at Elite League table-toppers Belfast, followed by a 4-3 shoot-out victory over Manchester. 

The Stars are now eight points clear of Manchester in the chase for the final end of season play-off place. 

Defending champions Sheffield remain second, three points behind Belfast after edging out Glasgow 4-3 but losing 2-1 after a shoot-out in Nottingham.
