Fences at Aintree are back out

IT IS our first sighter of the season of the Grand National fences at Aintree and the first, second and seventh in last year’s Becher Chase (1.30) re-oppose again with Walk In The Mill readily holding the fast finishing Kimberlite Candy.

However, the last named then went on to win the Warwick Classic and take a big hike in the weights which means that the Robert Walford-charge has every chance of confirming that form.

The mover in the market for the past week was the 2019 seventh Le Breuil, winner of the National Hunt Chase at the 2019 Cheltenham Festival. However, he had such a hard race that day that he has failed to reproduce that kind of form in five outings since. The handicapper has barely dropped him in the weights though and better each-way claims are held by the bottom-weight CALIPSO COLLONGES.
