UN urged Myanmar military rulers to provide access to ‘lifesaving’ aid for three million people

THE United Nations has urged Myanmar’s military leaders to provide access to “life-saving” aid for more than three million people in desperate need of humanitarian assistance.
UN humanitarian chief Martin Griffiths warned that without an end to violence, “this number will only rise.”
The military government seized power from the government of Aung San Suu Kyi in February.
