HEAVY shelling in Sudan’s capital Khartoum disrupted efforts to deliver much-needed aid to trapped civilians today after the United Nations warned of a “humanitarian catastrophe.”
The latest series of ceasefires expired earlier in the day, breaking the fragile quiet.
Fighting has been taking place in the country in recent weeks between its two top generals, leaving civilians trapped and displaced.
