MEN’S RUGBY UNION: Substitute Grant Williams scored a late try as South Africa came from behind to edge out New Zealand 31-27 in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The Springboks now enjoy a commanding eight-point lead in the Rugby Championship over the second-placed All Blacks.

Australia gained their first win of the tournament as Ben Donaldson’s last minute penalty sealed a narrow 20-19 win over Argentina in La Plata.
