As food and fuel run out, Gaza’s doctors appeal to the world to end the ‘genocide of children,’ reports LINDA PENTZ GUNTER

THIS WEEK, while talking to a colleague, I was reminded of how in the past we would have campaigns based around what our readers could do to help boost our sales, eg “Buy an additional copy of the paper for a friend.”
This set me down a rabbit hole, and eventually I found a document hailing back to when the paper was based at Ardleigh Road over 25 years ago. Titled “What you can do to support your paper.” In the intervening years, not a lot has changed: we still need to encourage more people to read and, more importantly, buy the paper — and yes, we do need your help.
Be proud of the paper, take it out and about, show articles, mention it at meetings, quote it in speeches, cut out articles for notice boards.

With a host of labour movement events coming up, you can put a smile on the face of Morning Star circulation manager BERNADETTE KEAVENEY by taking out a bulk order
