Frank Lampard to take the positives out of Liverpool defeat into Grimsby match
by Amar Azam at Stamford Bridge

FRANK LAMPARD’S Chelsea may not have done enough to blemish Liverpool’s perfect start to the season on Sunday but there was enough in their performance in that 2-1 defeat for fans to reflect positively on.

Chelsea welcome Grimsby Town tomorrow with the Blues boss in an optimistic mood after that display against Liverpool.

Lampard is likely to give starts to Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James as he prepares his side for the League Cup tie. Hudson-Odoi ruptured his Achilles tendon in April and his return will be welcomed by Chelsea fans following his performances last season.
