CHINESE President Xi Jinping will visit Russia next month for a summit of the Brics bloc of developing economies, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi confirmed on Thursday.

The visit will continue the development of a more multilateral world which breaks away from the dominance of the United States and its allies.

Mr Xi’s visit to Russia will be his second since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022 as a response to the US-led eastern expansion of Nato.
