Anti-Reform UK digital campaign tool used by more than 75,000 people
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage speaking at Dodworth Central Social club in Barnsley, April 22, 2026

MORE than 75,000 people have used a new digital tool designed to co-ordinate left-wing campaigning against Reform UK ahead of next week’s local elections.

My Election Map flags campaign events for candidates who have pledged their support for wealth taxes on the super-rich, migrant and trans rights, bold climate action and liberation for Palestine.

The site was launched by Green New Deal Rising, which announced today it has topped 75,000 users.

Green New Deal Rising co-director Hannah Martin said that progressives like Green MP Hannah Spencer and Plaid Cymru’s Lindsay Whittle “beat Reform not just because they were fantastic candidates, but also because hundreds if not thousands of volunteers refused to give in to pessimism and gave up their time to knock on doors, have real conversations and counter the far-right’s dark vision with one of hope.

“My Election Map offers people across the UK the chance to do the same at these crucial elections on Thursday May 7.”
