Guerrilla ads accuse Farage of being a billionaires' puppet ahead of Reform conference

GUERILLA adverts and unauthorised light projections accusing Nigel Farage of being a billionaires’ puppet have appeared in Birmingham in the run-up to the Reform UK party conference opening in the city today.

Bus stop adverts feature his image alongside the slogans: “He works for billionaires, not for you” and “This man voted to keep you on a zero-hour contract,” referencing Reform UK MPs’ recent vote against the Employment Rights Bill.

Giant light projections reading: “Tax the super-rich” and “Billionaires love Farage” have also lit up Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre, where the conference is taking place.

Sam Simons of the Climate Resistance group, which has said that it is behind the stunts, said: “Nigel Farage is a billionaire-backed, private school[-educated] banker masquerading as a man of the people.

“He’s funded by billionaires to scapegoat migrants, but the only minority ruining this country is the super-rich.

“It’s time to tax the super-rich out of existence and use their obscene wealth to fund climate action.”
