Filmmaker invites people to blow the whistle on Palestine censorship

A FILM company is calling on the public to speak out against efforts to censor the truth about what is happening in Palestine.

Platform Films are looking for people willing to blow the whistle on efforts to downplay, distort or obliterate from public view the terrible events in the country for a new documentary.

Producer Norman Thomas said: “For every act of censorship we hear about there are hundreds that go unreported. We want to shine a light on those unreported incidents.

“Whether it’s in the news, in the classroom, or in the arts or entertainment, voices speaking out against the genocide in Palestine are being silenced.

“We want people to tell us about what’s happening — we guarantee their anonymity.”

The documentary will be a follow-up to Censoring Palestine, which investigates how the truth about the Gaza genocide has been systematically suppressed by mainstream media and the British government.

Censoring Palestine will get its first online screening on the Crispin Flintoff Zoom show on Sunday May 4 at 10.30am, followed by a discussion with Holocaust survivor Stephen Kapos, activist Jackie Walker and journalist Sarah Wilkinson.
