Nowadays too many showbusiness types seem eager to provide the ever-insatiable media with their views on anything and everything at the drop of a publicist.

But these “luvvies” — actors and actresses who incline to be “particularly effusive or affected” — could very well be seen to damage performers who value their profession more than celebrity.
