Northern Ireland: 10-man Glenavon came from behind to win 2-1 at eight-man Glentoran and moved back to the top of the Irish Premiership after Linfield surprisingly lost their first game of the season by the same score at lowly Ards.

Coleraine beat Crusaders 1-0, Ballymena drew 1-1 with bottom club Dungannon, Cliftonville ended Warrenpoint’s recent run of form with a 3-1 defeat and Institute saw off Newry 2-0.

Palestine: Champions Hilal al-Quds moved back to the top of the West Bank League after they won 1-0 at bottom club Shabab al-Dhahiriya and Markz Balata (Nablus) were held 2-2 by al-Birah Institution.
