NFL franchises in search of a head coach this off-season have been dealt a huge blow with news that Oklahoma and Lincoln Riley have agreed a contract extension.
Riley is seen as one of the most creative and innovative offensive minds in the game and many have touted the young coach as a future NFL head coach.
Under his guidance, not only has the 35-year-old led the Sooners to consecutive Big 12 championships and College Football Play-off appearances, he has done so with Baker Mayfield, who was drafted No 1 overall by the Cleveland Browns this year, and Kyler Murray — both going on to win the Heisman trophy.
