Black lives should always matter: delinking social justice from seasonal US politics
The shambolic and confused opening debate between Biden and Trump certainly confirmed one thing: the ruling cliques in the US are either unconcerned by racism or only ‘play the race card’ during elections, writes RAMZY BAROUD
Donald Trump has referred the Black Lives Matter social justice movement as “a symbol of hate,” and rival Joe Biden has failed to say much substantial on the question of systemic racial injustice for black citizens

AFTER viewing the first US presidential debate on September 29, one is left with no doubt about the degenerating political discourse among the US’s ruling elites. 

                                     

Following the debate between US President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, most analyses focused mainly on the personal insults and name-calling, which, deservedly, earned the event the title “worst presidential debate in recent memory.”
