MEN’S FOOTBALL:

The New Saints extended their lead in the Cymru Premier to a staggering 21 points after they’d seen off bottom club Cefn Druids 4-1 and second-placed Penybont could only draw 0-0 at Barry.

Newtown in third also drew 1-1 with Cardiff Met. Bala needed a late Will Evans equaliser to draw 3-3 at Caernarfon, Connah’s Quay beat Flint 2-0 and Aberystwyth drew 0-0 at Haverfordwest.
