NHS is at ‘breaking point’, junior doctor warns ahead of upcoming strike
THE NHS is at “breaking point” and patients are no longer safe, a junior doctor said today ahead of upcoming strikes.
Junior doctors are set to strike next month after members of the British Medical Association (BMA) voted overwhelmingly on Monday in favour of taking industrial action in a row over pay.
A 25-year-old working in her first foundation year in Essex, who did not wish to be named, said NHS workers are reaching “burnout” due to understaffed wards.
