LOCAL government leaders across Wales have welcomed a £30 million package in community care to reduce pressure on hospitals and help people be supported at home.
The Welsh government claimed the new investment will improve people’s chances of living at home independently and ensure people are supported to live at home.
Welsh local government leader Andrew Morgan said: “We know that social services can play a vital part in helping to care for people in their own communities and away from hospital wards.
