OF COURSE all eyes will be on the mighty CONSTITUTION HILL (Sandown Park, 1.15) and it will be a huge shock if the likes of either of the two mares (in receipt of just 7lbs), Love Envoi or You Wear It Well, turn the champion over. But as a betting proposition this is a no bet win race; merely watch and savour.

However, I fancy the wager may well see the enigmatic Goshen make the forecast a viable play. The ground was way too quick for Gary Moore’s talented boy and I can see him making this a real test at the trip, and perhaps making the frame.

However, the real bets this afternoon come away from the feature race at the Esher track and my main focus for the past few days has been on the concluding contest, the London National Handicap Chase over an extended three and a half miles at 3.35.
