Bright says players ‘not robots’ after receiving abuse
Millie Bright, October 20,2024

MILLIE BRIGHT has emphasised that players are “not robots” after receiving abuse from the Chelsea section at Aston Villa on Sunday.

Blues captain Bright highlighted the incident, which she said involved a fan who had been asking for photographs and signatures, in a post on her Instagram stories today, describing it as “hugely disappointing.”

The 31-year-old England centre-back said: “Yesterday I experienced hearing a fan’s comment that I was “f****** s***” in the first half.
