The Labour-affiliated TSSA trade union said failing to discipline Hodge looked like double standards

MARGARET HODGE should not be allowed to “simply continue unabated as a Labour MP” and party member, transport union TSSA said today.

Delegates at the union’s conference in Glasgow voted for a motion slamming the Barking MP for “endorsing tactical voting, including voting for candidates other than Labour” in the recent European Parliament elections.

  • DELEGATES at TSSA conference overwhelmingly voted for the union to continue to oppose Brexit. They endorsed a statement from the executive which said: “Another Britain within another Europe as part of a socialist world is what we seek.”
