MEN’S CRICKET: Pakistan hold a 1-0 lead as they head into tomorrow’s final match of their two-legged test series against world champions South Africa in Rawalpindi. Left-arm spinner Noman Ali bagged match figures of 10-191 when the South African’s 10-match winning run was ended in last week’s 93 run defeat in Lahore. Pakistan are ranked as the world’s seventh best test team, five places below South Africa.

Glasgow eased past the Ospreys 42-17, Pretoria Bulls edged to a 28-27 win in Connacht, Cardiff saw off the Dragons 24-17, Edinburgh thumped Treviso 43-0, Ulster won 34-26 in Durban and Johannesburg beat bottom club Scarlets 29-18.
