GB four-man bobsleigh team hoping for funding after sixth-placed finish

GREAT BRITAIN’S four-man bobsleigh team are hoping they will be considered for UK Sport funding after a sixth-placed finish at the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Brad Hall, Nick Gleeson, Greg Cackett and Taylor Lawrence were lying sixth after Saturday’s opening runs and could not move up into the medal places with their final two runs.

Funding was cut after Hall’s team finished 17th in Pyeongchang four years ago but he hopes their Beijing showing has underlined potential.
