Railway cleaners to launch first national strike

RAILWAY cleaners are to launch their first national strike on Friday as they push for £15 an hour and better conditions.

Transport union RMT members at private contractors cleaning trains for several rail operators will be involved in the industrial action.

And ISS cleaners on London’s Dockland Light Railway will walkout today and tomorrow over pay, rosters and working conditions.
