Scottish Labour blast Yousaf's ‘inaction’ on A&E crisis
Scottish Health Secretary Humza Yousaf

SCOTTISH Labour blasted SNP health secretary Humza Yousaf today, saying his inaction is risking lives.

Figures from Publish Health Scotland, published today, showed that, during week ending July 17 2022 only 67.9 per cent of attendances at A&E services were seen and resulted in a subsequent admission, transfer or discharge within four hours.

Shockingly, some 2,413 patients spent more than eight hours in an A&E department with 901 patients spending more than 12 hours.
