GMB call for transparency in courier pay algorithms
THE GMB union today called for transparency in the algorithms behind pay at food delivery and riding companies.
The union, which has deals with delivery giants Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Uber, says clarity is required for sensible negotiations over pay and conditions.
It comes after a coalition including the TUC, Amnesty International and Privacy International launched a campaign on Monday to reveal the process on how pay and job access decisions are made.
