German police insist copper accused of racially abusing Farah was doing his duty

THE GERMAN copper accused of racially harassing Mo Farah was “properly carrying out his duty,” police insisted today.

The Olympic champion filmed an altercation he had with a uniformed police officer at Munich airport yesterday, posting it on social media with the comment,“Sad to see racial harassment in this day and age. 2018!”

Farah failed to capture any racial abuse in the 37-second clip, but a spokesman for the runner said he had felt it was “racially motivated and that he was unfairly treated by the airport security staff.
