AT THE Labour conference this week, much will be made of Labour’s record in Wales, particularly in standing up to 12 years of UK Conservative government.
But the truth for many of us in Wales, Labour’s record is one of pointing a finger at the Tory government and rightly saying: “Look how terrible they are!” all the while, failing to take action in the areas where it has full or partial devolved control.
This is all the more apparent as we reflect on the cost-of-living crisis, and in particular its effect on the cost of housing.
