A dentist at work

DENTISTS have been handed a real-terms pay cut, the British Dental Association reported today.

Contract holders are set to receive an increase of 4.64 per cent, backdated to April 2024 — going against the 6 per cent recommended by the Doctors and Dentists Review Body.

Only 1.68 per cent has been allocated for practice expenses.
