Members at UVW’s Strikers’ Assembly

NEARLY 150 low-paid workers across various employers will hold a simultaneous three-day strike this month to “demand dignity, equality and respect” at work, their union United Voices of the World (UVW) has announced.

Cleaners, carers and concierge employees will down tools on June 13, 15 and 20 as part of 11 public and private sector disputes, the union said.

Sites involved include an Amazon warehouse in Dartford, the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE) and the Department for Education (DfE).
