Broncos fan Taylor hopes to meet NFL heroes while on tour with England

SCOTT TAYLOR said yesterday that he is hoping to get the chance to rub shoulders with some of his heroes in the Denver Broncos team after earning a late call-up for England’s trip to Colorado.

The 27-year-old Hull prop earned a recall to the England squad for next Saturday’s ground-breaking game against New Zealand as a replacement for South Sydney’s George Burgess, who pulled out with a quad injury.

Taylor joined his Hull teammate Jake Connor and the eight-strong contingent from Wigan and St Helens on the flight from Manchester yesterday and spoke of his excitement at the prospect of running out at Denver’s Mile High Stadium.
