THE RMT threatened to “name and shame” exploitative bosses on Britain’s railways yesterday, exposing a cleaning company’s contract with a major train operator.
Churchill, which supplies workers to clean Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) trains, encourages a “brutal” culture of bullying and intimidation in its workplaces, the rail union said.
Individual trade unionists are being “picked off” by the company in an attempt to victimise union members, RMT also claimed, adding that managers were allowed to get away with “flagrant breaches” of workplace disciplinary procedures.
