Prominent left-wing figures back Labour and Jeremy Corbyn's vision in Open Letter

SCORES of prominent left-wing figures called for “a world for the many, not the few” in an open letter today, as they endorsed Labour’s political vision under Jeremy Corbyn.

Former Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff, former Ecuadorian president Rafael Correa, celebrated linguist Noam Chomsky and anti-apartheid leader Ronnie Kasrils signed a letter entitled The Cause of Labour is the Hope of the World, which called for solidarity with the party.

The statement, which was published in Tribune, was signed by 61 different signatories from at least 19 different countries.
