Mums put on Vale of Leven’s first Pride event

MUMS in a West Dunbartonshire town held the Vale of Leven’s first Pride event yesterday

The sun was out in Alexandria for the event at the Pawn Lounge pub, with a family-oriented fun day giving way to an evening of music and drag acts.

It was organised by cafe owner Sandra Reilly and her employee Annemarie Kennedy to celebrate the local LGBT community and challenge homophobic abuse faced by their sons.
