A PROTEST in solidarity with activists who closed down an Israeli arms factory for three days in September will take place in Oldham on Friday.
Oldham Peace and Justice will hold the rally outside Ferranti Technologies factory, one of the 10 sites across Britain owned by Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest private arms company.
The protest will coincide with the plea hearing of three of the activists who shut down UAV Engines, also owned by Elbit, in Shenstone, Staffordshire.
