Activists demand an NHS dentist for all at protest outside Parliament

ACTIVISTS demanding an NHS dentist for all staged a protest outside Parliament today at the start of a committee hearing into the woeful state of dental services.

The health and social care committee launched an inquiry in December following reports of DIY dentistry and regional inequalities, with people travelling significant distances to access an NHS dentist.

Toothless in England campaigners submitted a detailed six-page report to the inquiry in January as written evidence, but say they have been shut out of the hearing.
